Ibrahima Momodou Garba-Jahumpa was a Gambian teacher, trade unionist and politician, active with Edward Francis Small in the early labour movement and among the founders of organised party politics in the country.
He was the first indigenous mayor of Bathurst, now Banjul. His daughter Fatoumatta Jahumpa Ceesay became Speaker of the National Assembly.
